OFFICE MANAGER
Job Description:

Maintain all Personnel Files, including new hire paperwork, terminations, change forms and transfers. Manager all time clock functions and payroll. Run all payroll reports. Manage all insurance enrollments and insurance card distribution. Understand and able to explain 401K Plan. Maintain all Workers Compensation reports and Customer Accident reports. Track all Charge Accounts. Run price change reports, purchase order and valuation reports. Manage cash count training and procedures. Update map of store locations and Stu’s Organizational Chart.

Manage all Customer Service and Cashier hiring, training, scheduling, evaluations and disciplinary actions. Order all store supplies and front end candy. Maintain inventory and inventory reports for front end. Manage all license reports, donations, gift cards, coupons and bridal registry. Track and maintain all Layaways and Special Orders.

Perform any reasonable task required under the direction of the store manager, given the task does not violate company policy and/or local, state or federal law.

Loss Prevention
Job Description:

Protecting Company Assets
Working within a team environment agents are required to apprehend dishonest customers for theft and fraud. Working knowledge and/or experience of Digital CCTV equipment and the ability to observe cameras at length while protecting the company’s assets. Investigate employee theft and policy violations. Conduct interviews based on investigations. Loss Prevention Agents must work closely with the Store Manger.

Reducing Shrink
Conduct investigations on all types of theft and fraud. Research inventory shortages to determine cause of loss. Eliminate and/or reduce shrink through enforcement of state laws and corporate policy. Work closely with the Management Staff in reducing shrink.

Increasing Profits
Through all job functions listed above Loss Prevention Agents will assist Store Management in increasing store profitability.

Perform all duties while maintaining the company’s high level of dignity and respect!
Agents are to comply with Corporate Policies and Procedures. Must perform in a professional manner while completing all tasks. Must have the ability to preserve confidentiality. Must maintain a professional image based on the dealings with local and federal law enforcement. Will be required to attend legal hearings when necessary.

Customer Service - Gift Bar
Job Description:

Gift Bar employees are required to perform the following functions:

Sell Merchandise : Employees are expected to sell all merchandise located in the Gift Bar while providing good customer service by using learned sales techniques and product knowledge. Product categories include: Optics (binoculars, spotting scopes, eyewear), GPS and two-way radios, cutlery, lighting, and gift related merchandise. Helping the customer to have an enjoyable shopping experience is the main priority of any employee.

Manage Merchandise : Counting, assist in ordering, stocking, and merchandising product is required on a daily basis. Some heavy lifting is required when product arrives to the sales floor.

Maintenance of Department: Cleaning, straightening, and organizing the department and merchandise should be performed by all department personnel on a daily basis.

Participate in Events: As directed by corporate, store or department manager, participate in any event as a representative of Sportsman’s Warehouse which includes but not limited to: Banquets, trade shows, sale events, and demonstration. As required, any of these events may occur outside of the physical retail store and/or during non-typical business hours.

Miscellaneous: Perform any reasonable task required under the direction of his/her manager or corporate officer given the task does not violate company policy and/or local, state or federal law.

Receiving Manager
Job Description: Receiving; Receive incoming merchandise quickly with a high degree of accuracy. Some heavy lifting required. Work closely with accounts payable to resolve billing questions. Keep accurate and up to date records of store to store transfers, as well as defective returns/store merchandise and customer returns. Ship out and obtain credit for returned/defective merchandise. Work with department managers to resolve in house receiving questions.

Department Maintenance; Daily cleaning and organizing of the receiving department. Coordinate the pick-up of cardboard bales and pallets. Keep grounds outside the receiving and dock area clean.

Outside Events; Management is expected at all times to represent the Sportsman’s Warehouse name and to uphold a high standard of conduct set forth by the company. At times you will be expected to attend events such as banquets, trade shows, sales even etc… as directed by corporate and store managers.

Warehouse - Corporate
Job Description: Job responsibilities include but are not limited to communication skills, be able to follow oral and written instructions, be able to lift 70lbs, and have a high school diploma. Duties include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and putting stock away. Preference is given to those with previous warehousing experience, but is not a requirement. Some weekends and night shifts may be expected.

Must be self-motivated and have a high standard of work ethic and quality. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment a must.
